
Hopefully in the future with more optimization it won't be as gpu heavy, because otherwise it might be a big issue for when we want to start rendering games at higher resolutions, if I enable 2X resolution scale, up to 1440p on SSX, my framerate drops in the 20s. The emulation process in the DirectX12 branch of Xenia is really GPU bound, it does give me way better performances than anything I tried on RPCS3 though so I'm not complaining, that's probably because my CPU is actually old now (I7 2600k) so I get better performances with Xenia. Yes from everything I tested on Xenia it relies heavily on GPU, my GPU load is higher than CPU load by a large margin, with my GTX 1080 being in the 90%+ usage most of the time, with the game actually being rendered at 720p.
